13 members of the Twin Cities Illini Club, along with 4 guests of other college and alumni groups, were among the 200 volunteers in the National Public Lands Day event at Coldwater Spring, part of the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area (a national park in the heart of the Twin Cities metro). As a follow-up to invasive species removal that was completed in the last 4 years, we planted native underbrush species to continue restoration of this 29-acre area.
